The Christmas Lights

This year we went to the Christmas lights at Christmas Village. It was really really cold as you can see us all bundled in the pictures. The lights were beautiful though.

Christmas Dinner

Here are the boys at Barbara's house for dinner. Bob got them a tool kit and puzzles. We had a very nice visit. Barbara, Michael, Amy, Melanee and Dallin, Mom, Bob, Greg, Ashley, Bryan, Matthew, my family minus Megan were all there.

Christmas Morning

Christmas Eve

On Christmas eve, we made some cookies for Santa and of course had to taste them.

Service Project

I'm now in charge of the activity days for the 10-11 year old girls in our ward, so we decided to do a service project a couple weeks before Christmas. We spent 2 hours at the church in the nursery and let anyone with small children drop them off to finish some last minute shopping. It went really well. One of the leaders helped the kids make snowmen from marshmallows, mini m&m's, candy corns, etc. I brought some papers for the kids to color and/or make cards out of. The other leader brought some frosting playdoh which the kids loved.

Some cute pics

I know I haven't been good about the blog lately, but I thought I'd throw up a couple of cute pics to silence the peanut gallery (Anne). That's Corb in the dog costume. The two of the boys crying are taken at bed time. I cry because I want to go to bed, they cry because they don't. All the difference twenty years makes eh? The other pic of the Santa bag is the present Meg made me at school. She just couldn't wait for me to open it so I ended up opening it the day she brought it home. She had made a basket for me to put fruit in. It was the best one in the class she says. All my kids are awesome.

Make-A-Wish

Most of you know that Megan was nominated by her doctor for a Make-A-Wish wish, so tonight was the night we got to go to the Make-A-Wish center and let Megan be pampered by the volunteers. First they played a little game with Megan to find out what would be a good wish for her. Then Aly and I got to write a wish for Megan for the future. Then they took us into the wishing tower which Megan got a special key to open (she gets to keep the key forever and go to the wishing tower whenever she wants). The wishing tower was an open room with a fountain in the middle. The whole thing lit up and changed colors and made sounds. In the middle of the room was a large cone. Megan had to walk around the fountain to find the top to the cone, put her scroll into the cone and put the top on. After that was done, we went to the conference room and had rootbeer floats. Megan had a great time! Dying to know what she wished for? She wished for a horse! Cool huh?

Funny Aly

Aly was watching the boys while I ran an errand the other day. Apparently the boys were boring cause when I came home Aly had dressed up.... Earrings are Christmas tree ornaments and the clips in her hair are from our Hawaiian bday party last year.
